Aspiring children’s book author/illustrator.
Sarrah AbuLughod is a mother, teacher, artist, and aspiring author and children's book illustrator.
Sarrah began her artistic journey as a homeschooler who was given near limitless creative license by her parents as well as the supplies she needed to get there. Unburdened by the idea of being "best" or even "good" at a specific art form, she dabbled in everything she could get her hands on.
As an adult, those burdens are a little more pronounced, but that hasn't stopped her from playing with shades, styles, and ideas. Her current work is inspired by her children's love of color and words, her mixed Palestinian-American heritage and her life as a Muslim living on Turtle Island.
